Why did the authors of the Constitution want to avoid political parties? They believed political parties would threaten democracy. They believed political parties would cause an aristocracy to develop. They believed political parties threatened the unity of a republic. They believed political parties would create a need for public elections.

I would choose choice "A" because in a democracy and the constitution because both of those did not want for one group to have more power than the others.
