according to the fair labor standard act (FLSA) , youths 14 and 15 years old may work outside school hours in various non-manufacturing, non-mining, non-hazardous jobs under the following conditions:
a.) no more than 3 hours on a school day or 18 hours in a school week
b.)no more than 4 hours on a school day or 20 hours in a school week
c.) no more than 5 hours on a school day or 22 hours in a school week
d.) no more than 9 hours on a non-school day or 42 hours in a non-school week

one thing i know is that when you are in college, and have a job on campus, i wasnt able to get more than 20 hours a week. but im not real sure if that is applicable to this situation
