OpenStudy (anonymous):

b ?

OpenStudy (igreen):

No..that's not right.

OpenStudy (igreen):

To solve for \(x\), we have to square both sides..

OpenStudy (igreen):

*find the square root of both sides

OpenStudy (igreen):

So what's your answer going to be?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

d correct ?

OpenStudy (igreen):

No, don't guess.. You find the square root of both sides. \(x^2 = 30\) \(\sqrt{x^2} = \sqrt{30}\) The square root and the exponent of 2 cancel out leaving you with just \(x\).

OpenStudy (anonymous):

o so c then because it cancels out ?

OpenStudy (igreen):

Yep!

OpenStudy (anonymous):

thnx :p

OpenStudy (anonymous):
