find the area of a hexagon with sides of 12cm
For a hexagon, \[Area = 3\sqrt{3}s^{2}/2 \] The "s" variable means "side" so you plug in the length of one side, which in this case, is 12.
Once you plug it in, you solve.
Do you know how?
\[A=3\sqrt{3}~12^{2}\div2 \] Solve this to get your answer.
