For the picket fence method how do I determine where to out the numbers so I know to divide or multiply.
EX: How many H atoms in 3 mols of H2O
I know you would need to use 2 mols of H2O and Advogaro's Number, but where would I put everything?

Use gravimetric factor, then just go about it how you would a typical problem

x Moles of H2O*(Molecular mass of H/Molecular Mass of H2O)
= Moles of H in x moles of H2O

I dont know the picket fence method but this method works fine it is just like unit cancellation
