Need help with one geometry question. The question asks me if they figures below are similar (image I will attach/is attached) and asks me to explain in complete sentences and to provide evidence to support my claim. I know for sure that they are similar. To me it looks like the first figure was dilated to make it smaller. I don't know how to explain this with evidence. Help?

Yes , the figures are alike, as the size is proportional, with a ratio of 2:1, 2 being the larger heptagon (seven-sided shape), and 1 being the smaller. In case you didn't know, our ratio of 2:1 would be for every 2 units (feet, inches, etc.) on the larger shape, there is 1unit on the smaller. In your case, no units are given, so they are called the generic "units."
