HELP! MEDAL!! Seven-tenths of a number decreased by thirteen is equal to three-tenths the number increased by 13. Find the number.

@dumbcow

OpenStudy (lizz123):

Is this correct for me to solve:\[\frac{ 7 }{ 10 } -13 = \frac{ 3 }{ 10 }x +13\]

OpenStudy (tanner23456):

That's really close. You're just missing one thing. 7/10 of a number would be 7/10x so just put an x next to the 7/10 and solve for x

OpenStudy (lizz123):

thnx

OpenStudy (tanner23456):

no worries
