WILL GIVE MEDALS! Human hearts have pairs of two types of chambers; the atria (plural for atrium)and the ventricles. Atria are where blood enters the heart and ventricles pump the blood out of the heart. The heart also takes in oxygen poor blood, pumps it through the lungs or gills (fish), where the blood is oxygenated, and then pumped through the rest of the body. Identify which statement is correct. A) Fish have a three-chamber heart. B) Reptiles have a two-chamber heart. C) Mammals have a four-chamber heart. D) None of these statements are correct.
well we all know that the human heart has four chambers but according to this question it says we only have two
"The heart has four chambers: two atria and two ventricles. The right atrium receives oxygen-poor blood from the body and pumps it to the right ventricle. The right ventricle pumps the oxygen-poor blood to the lungs. The left atrium receives oxygen-rich blood from the lungs and pumps it to the left ventricle."
