In two years there are 24 months so I divided 24 by 6 to find the amount of times I needed to double the number.

1 year = 12 months
4 times 3 =12
1 year is 3 sets of 4 months
2 years have 6 sets of 4 months
400 times 2^(n)
400 times 2^6)
400 times 64
25,600
manually
400
800
1600
3200
6400
12800
25600
