Three functions are given below: f(x), g(x), and h(x). Explain how to find the axis of symmetry for each function, and rank the functions based on their axis of symmetry (from smallest to largest).

f(x) = –4(x – 8)^2 + 3
g(x) = 3x2 + 12x + 15

g(x) - Complete the square.

@e.mccormick I just don't get what to go off on. I don't know where to start so I never asked for answers, I was tagging people to HELP me! I need to go but axis of symmetry is a vertical line that goes through the vertex of a equation such as a quadratic. @tkhunny

I am not being rude. I am simply explaining what part of the code of conduct he is acting on since you reported his actions. You reported someone, a moderator responds to reports. Now, who you reported was another mod, but it still called for some clarification.


If you want help for not knowing what the question means, you need to say so. All you did was copy and paist the question. You did not enter your question about the question or describe your trouble with it. When tkhunny demanded to know more, you reported it. Presto, you got another mod.

Seriously, just show your work. Don't try to defend ANY excuse to do otherwise. You will not gain sufficient confidence in your work, otherwise.
