Any number comes next. Just pick one and write a pattern to fit it.

Someone may suggest that 25 is the MOST logical or MOST obvious, but that is simply incorrect. It's just one of infinitely many possibilities that happens to pop into a lot of heads.

Its a number pattern, like for example: 2, 4, 6, __? basicly im adding 2 to every number i get. But the problem I need help on is like this; an number problem.

Yes, it is a number pattern, but it is NOT a particular number pattern. No one can read your mind. A couple of numbers DOES NOT establish the next number.

I was thinking 2, 4, 6, -12, 62. See, 2, 4, 6 just doesn't do it.

Try 25 and see if you can explain it.
