15%is what number of 6. sorry i have hard times on %

OpenStudy (alexandervonhumboldt2):

i dont understand

OpenStudy (anonymous):

i know right

sammixboo (sammixboo):

Are you asking 15% of what number is 6?

OpenStudy (alexandervonhumboldt2):

6*15/100=0.9

OpenStudy (anonymous):

oh yah

sammixboo (sammixboo):

It's worded a bit weird

OpenStudy (anonymous):

yah sorry

sammixboo (sammixboo):

OK that is better :) Here use this formula :) \(\rm \color{blueviolet}{\dfrac{part}{whole}=\dfrac{percent}{100}}\) Where the percent is 15 and the part is 6. The whole is unknown, so we ar solving for the whole Plug in the values \(\rm \color{blueviolet}{\dfrac{6}{whole}=\dfrac{15}{100}}\) Do you know how to solve this?
