You know two sides of a triangle, as well as an angle that is not between the sides. how many solutions could this triangle have?

OpenStudy (asett):

What is your guess?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I would say 1.

OpenStudy (asett):

That would be my guess as well, because if you have two sides and a fixed angle, then you can only make one triangle.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Or 2 I guess. I would guess becuase if you would want to find another angle or the other side.

OpenStudy (asett):

I was thinking 2 possible solutions as well, but I think if you have two fixed lengths and a fixed angle in a triangle, you would have only one solution to that triangle.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

It could have 0,1, or 2 solutions I just found out. thanks anyway!

No problem!
