I wouldn't doubt it tbh. But they would never do it. That's against the CoC. There have been several cases of people getting -1 Smartscores because of bans and suspensions or this one guy had -2 SS.

mods can increase your smartscore just like everyone else can ... by giving you a medal if they like your work.

a mod cannot simply go into your account and hack it so that your smartscore changes.

an evil mod could go into your profile page and delete all your posts one by one .... and thereby decrease your smartscore. but thats not a hack.

Well my ss score goes slowly and i was only banned for 1 minute ;(
