OpenStudy (anonymous):

Do you know what the square root of 729 is?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

|dw:1418827979974:dw| andd 27

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Yes, now multiply 3 * 27.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

would i take \[27^{3}\] or 27*3 81

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Yep, that's your answer!

OpenStudy (anonymous):

81 = 3 times 729 and 9 cubed = 729 , are you looking for the cube root? 9.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

thankss @iGreen.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

@katieekazoo Does it look like this? \(3 \sqrt{729}\) or does it look like this? \(^3 \! \! \! \! \! \sqrt{729}\)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Cube root or time 3 please?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

^^^

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I'm sloppy what the difference :)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

thats what mine looks like

OpenStudy (anonymous):

is 81 still my answer?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Okay, so it's the cube root..so you have to find out what multiplied by itself 3 times = 729. It's kind of like square root, but it's 3 numbers and not 2.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

No, it's not. @katieekazoo

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Do you understand how to find square and cube roots manually :)?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

im so confusedddd. /:

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Like the cube root of 27 is 3, because 3 * 3 * 3 = 27. It's kind of like the square root.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

don't be ..is it 3 time square root of two ...or cube root...know how to do both problem and don't be confused. is there a context to the problem?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

so 9?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Yep, you got it!

OpenStudy (anonymous):

no theres not input the picture above of the exact picture

OpenStudy (anonymous):

9 * 9 * 9 = 729

OpenStudy (anonymous):
