Under the 22nd Amendment, what is the maximum time a president may now serve? A.one four-year term B.two four-year terms C.two five-year terms D.one two-year term E.two six-year terms
what do you think the answer is:)?
i think is E but i not really sure
i mean (im) excuse my spelling
never mind its B
10 years. If the Vice President assumes the presidency after 1/2 of the President 's term he can serve two full terms . If the Vice President serves more than 1/2 of the former President's term he can only be elected for one more term. That was the Difference between LBJ and Gerald Ford. Ford served more than 1/2 of Nixon's term and was therefore limited to running and serving 0ne term.
The 22nd Amendment states, “No person shall be elected to the office of the president more than twice, and no person who has held the office of president, or acted as president, for more than two years of a term to which some other person was elected president shall be elected to the office of the president.
