Did I do these correctly?

OpenStudy (kmullis6):

1. Yo le doy los dulces a mi prima. - I give sweets to my cousin. 2. Tu me das el chocolate. - You give me chocolate. 3. El da ellos la juguetes a los sobrinos. - He gives toys to the nephews. 4. Nosotras das ella el regalo a madre. - We gave mother a gift. 5. Yo le doy a abuela la flores. - I give grandmother flowers.

OpenStudy (kmullis6):

The reason I'm confused is because the instructions on this assignment said to use 'a ____' (or something like that) to refer to the person the item is being given to. If I've done any of these wrong, please tell me what I've done incorrectly.

Hello! Here's some feedback. Upper case words (below) are those you need to change/delete, OK? 1. Yo le doy los dulces a mi prima. - [This is OK] 2. Tu me das el chocolate. - [This is OK. I'm not sure if the instructions mean you need to include 'a ____' in all sentences. If you do [or if you're not sure], you could simply add *a mi* at the end, which is a usual way to put some emphasis: "to me".] 3. El da ELLOS LA juguetes a los sobrinos. - [You should delete *ellos* because you already have a subject: *El*. Also, note *juguetes* is masculine plural... Remember what the article should be here?] 4. Nosotras DAS ELLA el regalo a madre. - [You should delete *ella* because you already have a subject: *nosotras*. Then *das* is in the wrong person: remember 1st person plural ["we"] ends in *-mos*. One more thing: *a madre* doesn't sound natural to me. I'd say either *a nuestra madre* or *a mama* [="mum"]] 5. Yo le doy a abuela LA flores. - [Remember to add the ending for plural. ] And that's it! Hope this helps! Blessings
