okay:  $\large\color{black}{                 f_{n}=f_{n-1}-8    }$ means that you subtract 8 to obtain each next term.

This means that $\large\color{black}{ d=-8    }$. Knowing that $\large\color{black}{                 f_{1}=4    }$ can you finish the problem?
