Ok the format of a sin function equation is \[Asin(Bx-C)\] where A is the amplitude, B is the period, and C is a shift. You did not give a shift so ignore C. Your A would be 3 and B is found by doing the period of sin itself divided by the period given to you so in your case you have 2pi/2pi which is 1 so B=1. Your sin function looks like this then \[2\sin(1x)\]
