How many moles of hydrogen are needed to produce 13.78 mol of ethane?

\[H _{2} \rightarrow C_{2}H_{6} \] now i guess that ethane has three times as much hydrogen atoms as hydrogen gas, so probably the amount in moles of hydrogen gas needed would be three times smaller...
