$$(1/3)^{50}  : (-9)^{25}   =   (3)^{-50}  :  [(-3)^{25}  * (3)^{25}]  = (3)^{-75} :  (-3)^{25}$$

I am not sure what you are doing but

$(-9)^{25}=-(9)^{25}=-(3^2)^{25}=-(3^{50})=-(3^{25})(3^{25})$
