can you find two points on the line (I hope so, they labeled 2 for you)
find the change in y
then the change in x
slope is change in y divided by change in x

if you are at (5,5) and "move" to (10,1)
how far do you move in the y (up/ down direction) (down is minus, up is plus)
that is the change is y. You can use subtraction or you can count boxes.

I would put my finger on (5,5) and count down 4 boxes, (means change in y is -4)
then over +5 (means change in x is +5)
then do change in y *divided* by change in x
