12*8/2= 96^2 96^2 or 96/2=48 48
B
well the formula of a triangle is 1/2bh so if u multiply both half of the 12 which is the base it gives you 6 then you will multiply that six by the 8 wich is your hight and you will get 48
Thank you all for your help! I can only give 1 medal so each one giva medal to each other.
I will kiwigal01 if someone gets me
i have another one
i gave u one blkknight217
and the other one is where?
What is the area of the figure? http://static.k12.com/calms_media/media/1562000_1562500/1562224/1/b52429b360c2a31ec785e42edefa6b1d4a87ef05/MS_IMB-1401012-1100502.jpg
are there any choices?
No, on the test you have to type it in.
so on this one you need to do the same formula for the top triangle, so the top will be 6ft, and the bottom will be 30 ft, so if my math is correct the answer should be 36
Thank you guys so much! I wish I could give all medals if I could. But it doesn't allow. Thxs!
I agree with @Kiwigal01
Wait! i have one more!
What is the area of the figure? A. square centimeters B. square centimeters C. square centimeters D. square centimeters http://static.k12.com/calms_media/media/1419000_1419500/1419348/1/980d8ee155ae3951f7149edd02469a1e9117aa2d/MS_PA_130922_171120.jpg
you are very welcome, anytime
33.5 because the triangle on top is 2*6 = 12^2 meaning that the answer is 3.46410161514 reduced is 3.5+ and 6*5 is 30 30 + 3.5 is 33.5
Wait! I is confused.
blkknight, if you use 1/2base*hight for the triangle, which gives you 2*3 which is 6 then you multiply 6*5 which as you said is 30 it still gives you 36 and rcagle it's no biggy, i think he might be a lil confused himself..
ok, on the last one, the base is 15 which means the whole top would also be 15, if it wasnt cut, so 15*10 is 150, and you will do that twice which gives you 300 then, you will subtract 44 because u give 4 back to the surface so that the 4 cm on the left side will be counted, so your answer should again be 256 if i did my math right
Thank you!
yupp
Wait it is not up there
what are your choices?
abcd are all square centimetes wouldnt that mean that your answer is cm^2?
