Although Buddha did not think of himself as a god, after his death some of his followers did. C. Adhering to the Buddha's teachings, no statues of Buddha were made or used as a focus for prayer.

I wouldn't want to mark more than one answer. It might be A also, but I really don't think it can be A. B is the correct statement, although debatable.

the initial religion of Buddhism more consists of respecting Buddha and other statues that they have. it is like a very good memory and someone you respect (like a picture of your grandmother), but it was officially not meant to be worshiped. Now however, it is just a banal polytheism, pretty much.
