Which are Buddhist beliefs? Choose all answers that are correct. A. The essential self of a living being never dies. B. The path to happiness is through doing one's duty within one's class. C. The relationship between parent and child is the most important relationship in society. D. How one is reborn has nothing to do with caste.

OpenStudy (nerdgirl6):

Hello @cmcleod1! Which answers do you think are correct?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

@nerdgirl6 umm... Maybe A and C? idk

OpenStudy (nerdgirl6):

I see where you are thinking, but actually A cannot be correct, because Buddhists believed the human spirit disappeared if you reach enlightenment. I also think C is incorrect, because the path to enlightenment was based on removing attachments.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

@nerdgirl6 So is it B and D? Im sorry, im not good at history

OpenStudy (nerdgirl6):

Its totally fine! That's why I'm here to help you! And I think it is probably just B. D applies to Hinduism and the rules of caste and dharma.

@nerdgirl6 Thank you so much!! >3

OpenStudy (solomonzelman):

I wouldn't choose any of the answers to be accurate-:(

OpenStudy (solomonzelman):

I am not very good at Buddhism, but I learned something about it, and I can be fairly sure about what I said.

@cmcleod1, no problem glad I could help!
