What event occured that helped the Spanish conquer both the Aztec and the Inca?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

A. The spread of Smallpox B. The Aztecs and Inca did not put up a fight C. The Inca warned the Aztecs what would happen

OpenStudy (solomonzelman):

you can just logically derive the answer.

OpenStudy (solomonzelman):

Would not putting up a fight between Inca and Aztecs help the Spanish conquer them (Incas and Atzecs) ?! Would warning Atzecs help the Spanish or do the opposite?

OpenStudy (solomonzelman):

answers will be reported!

OpenStudy (solomonzelman):

no direct answers, please!

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Is it a b or c?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

what i do is i chooce the answer that i feel best fits, so choice a is incorrect because the spread of small pox wouldn't help or hurt the spanish correct? b is the aztec and inca did not put up a fit, would that help the spanish take over or not? and c is the inca warned the aztec about what would happen would that help the spanish?

OpenStudy (solomonzelman):

okay, have you considered elimination, what can you exclude?

OpenStudy (wwhitlock):

Hard to fight when your people die of disease. Inca and Aztec had no direct communication, but disease has a way of making the rounds without direct communication. Both fell victim to the treachery and lieing of conquistadors but fought hard to keep from being dominated.
