Which relation describes a function? What makes it a function? A) {(2,3),(3,3),(3,4)} Each member of the domain and range is positive. B) {(-2,3),(-4,5),(-6,7)} Each member of the domain and range is unique. C) {(2,3),(3,3),(3,4)} Each member of the domain and range is a real number. D) {(-2,3),(-3,3),(-4,3)} Each member of the domain is assigned exactly one member of the range.

Nnesha (nnesha):

if in the realtion x values repeat then relation is not fuction in order to be function there should be no x's repeat for example (a,b)(a,c)(c,d) in this relation a is two times so this relation is not function

Nnesha (nnesha):

@1497 did you understand ??

OpenStudy (anonymous):

yes I go with b

Nnesha (nnesha):

by looking at relations it can be B or D

Nnesha (nnesha):

you have to read the statement too

Nnesha (nnesha):

for function only thing matter is X values if there is x repeat then not function

Nnesha (nnesha):

|dw:1418928146789:dw| according to the statement of D is this right ??
