pooja195 (pooja195):

Anyone willing to help me study for a bio test I really need help

OpenStudy (abhisar):

You mean help with Test Questions?

pooja195 (pooja195):

nope i mean studying for a bio test

pooja195 (pooja195):

1. I can describe the role of ATP in cellular activities. 2. I can explain where plants get the energy they need to produce food. 3. I can explain the role of light and pigments in photosynthesis. 4. I can explain the role of electron carrier molecules in photosynthesis. 5. I can state the overall equation for photosynthesis. 6. I can describe what happens during the light-dependent reactions. 7. I can describe what happens during the light-independent reactions. 8. I can identify factors that affect the rate at which photosynthesis occurs. 9. I can explain where organisms get the energy they need for life processes. 10. I can define cellular respiration. 11. I can compare photosynthesis and cellular respiration. 12. I can describe what happens during glycolysis. 13. I can describe what happens during the Krebs cycle. 14. I can explain how high-energy electrons are used by the electron transport chain. 15. I can identify how much ATP cellular respiration generates. 16. I can explain how organisms get energy in the absence of oxygen. 17. I can identify the pathways the body uses to release energy during exercise.

pooja195 (pooja195):

my teacher gave us learning teargets to study off of some of them i dont get

OpenStudy (abhisar):

Owkay, so what can't you describe?

pooja195 (pooja195):

#4

OpenStudy (abhisar):

or How would you like me to help you?

OpenStudy (abhisar):

Owkay..#4..

pooja195 (pooja195):

i dont know how to explain the role of electron carrier molecules in photosynthesis.

OpenStudy (abhisar):

Owkay, let's see it. First who are the electron carrier molecules? An example is NADPH.

OpenStudy (abhisar):

\(\bf \text{What is their role in photosynthesis?}\) So basically they carry electrons into the stroma from thylakoid membranes.

pooja195 (pooja195):

i am so lost :(

pooja195 (pooja195):

im not getting whast a thlakoid is or a stroma

OpenStudy (abhisar):

Also these molecules help in the downhill movement of electrons from PS-I to PS_II

OpenStudy (abhisar):

Owkay, in what class are you?

pooja195 (pooja195):

Biology 1

OpenStudy (abhisar):

I mean your grade..High school, pre high school?

pooja195 (pooja195):

9th grade freshemn

OpenStudy (abhisar):

Okay I need to go to bed, It's 5:30 AM here. But you may like to have a look on \(\href{https:///docs.google.com/document/d/1S6KSiZr433xKumEpZ3glggmmqwhfBmHmhQOD8Z_1abU/edit?usp=sharing}{\sf \underline{this}}\) These are notes prepared by me on Photosynthesis. You may find it too detailed but can be useful to you.

pooja195 (pooja195):

okay thanks :)

OpenStudy (abhisar):

Ur welcome :)
