@kittiwitti1

OpenStudy (kittiwitti1):

When you say 5x3 - 135, are you referring to \[5 x 3-135\]\[\text{which is a VARIABLE}\]or \[5 \times3-135\]\[\text{which is a MULTIPLICATION sign?}\]

OpenStudy (anonymous):

variable... the 3 is an exponet

OpenStudy (kittiwitti1):

well, then: \[5 \times x \times3-135\]is this what you mean? --- \[\text{simplify the equation to 15x-135, since 5(3) = 15.}\]\[\text{now find a greatest common factor (GCF) for the equation 15x-135.}\]

OpenStudy (anonymous):

nvm I got the answer.. and I used (a-b) (a2+ab+b2)

OpenStudy (kittiwitti1):

\[\text {...alright then}\] o_o
