what makes 2x-5 = 0 ? since dividing by zero is bad we want to avoid it.

Set the denominator equal to zero and solve for x, 2x - 5 = 0 2x = 5 divide both sides by 2... x = 5/2 so x cannot be 5/2 because the denominator would equal zero No do you know the answer?
