In "Everyday Use" by Alice Walker, what is the most likely reason that Dee takes pictures of her mother and Maggie when she first arrives at the house? Dee has distanced herself so much from her mother and Maggie that seeing their house was like seeing an exhibit in a museum. Dee was intent on recreating every aspect of her mother and Maggie's house. Dee does not remember what the house looks like, and she wants to make sure she doesn’t forget in the future. Dee wants to be able to show her friends pictures of her family and the place where she grew up.
