i think its more peevish then anything but youre right it could also be testy. I just think peevish makes more sense because the def of peevish is easily irritated especially by unimportant things. And if hes pouting all day hes probably experiencing more emotions then just annoyed

I think mopey would be the best synonym for pouting.
