check my answer

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Subtract (5x2 + 3) -(2x2 + 4x - 12). 3x2 - 4x + 15 3x2 + 4x + 15 <--- my choice 3x2 - 4x - 9 3x2 + 4x - 9

OpenStudy (anonymous):

@ganeshie8 @Ganpat

OpenStudy (anonymous):

@cwrw238

OpenStudy (anonymous):

but i also think its A

OpenStudy (anonymous):

@Abhisar

OpenStudy (anonymous):

3x2 +4x +15

OpenStudy (anonymous):

So, your correct

OpenStudy (anonymous):

do you mind showing your work?

OpenStudy (ganpat):

Just open up the bracket and then solve.. (5x2 + 3) -(2x2 + 4x - 12) 5x2 + 3 - 2x2 -4x +12 negative sign is applied to all the terms inside the bracket..

OpenStudy (anonymous):

^^ @Ganpat is right

OpenStudy (anonymous):

so then it would be A?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

because the 12 and 3 go together then 5x2 and the -2x2 go together meaning 3x2 - 4x + 15

OpenStudy (ganpat):

yupp.. because - and + becomes - while, - and - becomes +

OpenStudy (anonymous):

okay i got one more question do you mind helping me on it?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

A company makes video games. The price of a video game is modeled by the function p(x) = 30x + 2, where x is the number of years since the company started producing games. The number of video games they sell is modeled by the function s(x) = 500x + 250. To find the total revenue from their video games, the company should use what operation on the polynomials? Addition Subtraction Multiplication It cannot be determined

OpenStudy (ganpat):

what do you say ?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

i was thinking multiplication but i'm honestly going towards D

OpenStudy (ganpat):

Total revenue = total sales * price per sale...

OpenStudy (anonymous):

so multiplication?

OpenStudy (ganpat):

yup.. total games sold * price per game..

OpenStudy (anonymous):

i asked this question earlier and someone said it cannot be determined im so confused

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I'll just go with multiplication because that person said there not sure and you seem sure

OpenStudy (anonymous):

THANK YOU SO MUCH THE ANSWER WAS MULTIPLICATION thank you!
