OpenStudy (anonymous):
yeah there will just be different questions
OpenStudy (anonymous):
to convert a percent to a fraction just put a /100 under it then simplify
OpenStudy (anonymous):
ok thanks
OpenStudy (anonymous):
40/100 to simplify find common factors and divide them both by the common factor, so 40 divided by 20 is 2 and 100 divided by 20 is 5, so you end with 2/5

OpenStudy (curiousquestions):
40% as a fraction in 3 steps:
Step 1: Move the dot to the left 2 spaces so then it becomes 0.40 or 0.4
Step 2: The 4 in 0.4 is in the tenths place so it becomes 4/10
Step 3: 4/10 can be reduced to be 2/5
