Help! What is A monomial with a degree of 5?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Monomial means it has ONE term. A degree of 5 means that the highest exponent is 5. An example: \(3x^2y^3\) That's one term, and you add up the exponents which gives you 5. Here's another: \(9x^5\)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

1 + 1 + 1 = 3.
