What are the zeros of the function? What are there multiplicities? f(x)=4x^3-20x^2+24X

OpenStudy (solomonzelman):

you can factor out of 4x.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

how do I do that

OpenStudy (solomonzelman):

\(\large\color{black}{ f(x)=4x^3-20x^2+24x }\) set f(x)=0 \(\large\color{black}{ 0=4x^3-20x^2+24x }\) and you can see that all terms on the right side of the equation have 4x in common, right? So take the 4x out.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

so is the answer \[-20x^2+24x\]
