OpenStudy (sleepyjess):

Do you know what a unit rate is?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

No that's my problem

OpenStudy (perl):

426 miles in 7 hours = (426/7) miles / hour

OpenStudy (sleepyjess):

A unit rate is x of one thing per 1 of something else. So for your example, it would be traveling x miles per hour.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

How do you find a unit rate?

OpenStudy (sleepyjess):

Since you have 426 miles in 7 hours, to find 1 hour you would need to divide 426/7.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Oh, we have been talking about this forever and I didn't understand it, now I do! Thx
