The common ratio between 26.5 and 16 is 1.65625. However, when multiplying 7 by 1.65625 it gives us 11.59375. If n = 11.59375 then the common ratio between 11.59375 and 16 would be 1.3800539...
If this were a multiple choice question then we would be able to solve this no problem, but this is an exponential function from the looks of things. Because 26.5-16=10.5. And 16-10.5=5.5. This wouldn't work seeing how the value before n is 7...Sorry but you haven't provided enough information like amistre64 said.
