OpenStudy (alexandervonhumboldt2):

and ?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

find the sum of the measure of the interior angles of the figure

OpenStudy (alexandervonhumboldt2):

Sum of interior angles? 180*(n-2) where n is number if angles

OpenStudy (alexandervonhumboldt2):

180*(6-2)====????????????????

OpenStudy (anonymous):

thats all the question says

OpenStudy (alexandervonhumboldt2):

720

OpenStudy (anonymous):

how did you get 720?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

@AlexandervonHumboldt2

OpenStudy (xapproachesinfinity):

The sum of interior angles in a hexagon is 720

OpenStudy (alexandervonhumboldt2):

180*4=720 180*(n-2)=720

OpenStudy (alexandervonhumboldt2):

use my formula

OpenStudy (xapproachesinfinity):

to show it is true try to cut the hexagon into a quadrilateral in the middle and two triangles in the side the sum of angles in a quadrilateral is 360 and the sum of angles in a triangle is 180 times 2 we get 360 and 360+360=720 !

OpenStudy (xapproachesinfinity):

it does not matter if it is a regular hexagon or irregular the fact is true all the time

OpenStudy (anonymous):

thank you mind helping me with one more @xapproachesinfinity @AlexandervonHumboldt2

OpenStudy (xapproachesinfinity):
