OpenStudy (xapproachesinfinity):
The sum of interior angles in a hexagon is 720
OpenStudy (alexandervonhumboldt2):
180*4=720
180*(n-2)=720
OpenStudy (alexandervonhumboldt2):
use my formula
OpenStudy (xapproachesinfinity):
to show it is true
try to cut the hexagon into a quadrilateral in the middle and two triangles in the side
the sum of angles in a quadrilateral is 360 and the sum of angles in a triangle is 180
times 2 we get 360
and 360+360=720 !
OpenStudy (xapproachesinfinity):
it does not matter if it is a regular hexagon or irregular
the fact is true all the time
