You can find the answer by multiplying 7 times 76, and then by multiplying .10 times 2,843. Add the answers from both of those.

Yes, isn't it simple? The question wants to know her pay and her commission. Obviously we would want to separately calculate and combine those two data. Her pay is her hourly rate times the number of hours worked. Her commission is 10% of her total earnings before commission. All provided. One + One = Done.
