In a yeast cell under aerobic conditions, pyruvate is oxidized to Acetyl CoA which enters the _________. NADH donates electrons to __________. The total ATP/glucose produced from these processes and glycolysis is __________. why the third answer is 32 not 38?

1. Krebs Cycle. 2. The Electron Transport Chain 3. 36 As far as I'm aware, glycolysis produces 2 ATPs, the Krebs Cycle produces 2 ATPs, and the Electron Transport Chain results in 32 ATPs.

@crusaderoftheinferno No, 38 is possible. In Eukaryotia, ATP is used because active transport is required to move things across the mitochondria's membranes.
