@jojo4eva @iGreen

OpenStudy (mathmath333):

.the three sides are given equal hence it is equilateral truangle and \(\large\tt \begin{align} \color{black}{2x+5=4x-1 }\end{align}\)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

So A ?

OpenStudy (igreen):

Yep, we write: \(2x + 5 = 4x - 1\) Can you solve for 'x'? @keke_luvs_u

OpenStudy (anonymous):

A ?

OpenStudy (igreen):

Tell me how you got A..

OpenStudy (mathmath333):

lol

OpenStudy (anonymous):

4x - 1 = 1

OpenStudy (igreen):

First subtract 5 to both sides.. \(2x + 5 \color{red}{- 5} = 4x - 1 \color{red}{-5}\)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

-.- Then?

OpenStudy (igreen):

Tell me what you get.

OpenStudy (igreen):

Simplify that.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I dont know

OpenStudy (anonymous):

10

OpenStudy (anonymous):

@iGreen

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Thanks for no help -.-

OpenStudy (igreen):

Um..I have no idea how you got 10 from that.. 5 - 5 = 0 -1 - 5 = 6 \(2x = 4x - 6\) Sibtract 4x to both sides.. what's 2x - 4x?
