Plz help me! I really want to start my break :( Jacob sells homemade skateboard decks for a profit of $27 per deck. He is considering switching to a new type of material that will increase his profit, as expressed by the function y = 32x, where x is the number sold and y is the amount of profit. How many more dollars will Jacob earn on each skateboard deck if he switches to the new material? Explain how you found your answer.

@Preetha plz help me? i want to start my break.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

hi guys.

OpenStudy (aripotta):

in the function y = 32x, 32 is the profit per board. so 32 - 27 will be your answer

OpenStudy (solomonzelman):

so, the initial profit function is: f(x)=27x and, the current profit function is: g(x)=32x you need: g(x)-f(x).

OpenStudy (anonymous):

ok.

OpenStudy (solomonzelman):

what will your profit be?

5?
