Whatever the question is, it's not about the age... it's about the IQ. One person might be about 35, yet have an IQ of about 81. Or, there might be someone 20 with a higher IQ. Possibly younger. Especially with schoolwork; older folks don't remember as much as the younger ones (no offense to any older people out there!) because they haven't done it in YEARS, as with younger people, they are doing/did theirs a few months or years back, and possibly remember more.
