Given the points (2, 3) and (6, 8), write the point-slope form of the equation. (Points : 2) y - 3 = x - 2 y - 3 = 5/4 (x - 2) y - 8 = 4/5 (x - 6)

OpenStudy (zale101):

You have two given points given. You are asked to use the point slope formula to get the equation. The point slope formula is \(\large y-y_1=\color{red}{m}(x-x_1)\) m is the slope and it is not given but since the there's two given points, you can easily get the slope by using the slope formula \(\large\color{red}{m}=\frac{y_2-y_1}{x_2-x_1}\)

OpenStudy (zale101):

You remember how to get the slope?
