Which set of three segments can form a triangle? A)32,25,57 B)55,67,13 C)19,45,68 D)22,19,41

OpenStudy (anonymous):

to be able to form a triangle, the sum of any 2 sides must be greater than the third side.

OpenStudy (dtan5457):

B)55,67,13 any 2 numbers in any order you add from those numbers are greater than the remaining one.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

so for ex: A) 32, 25, 57. <-- for this set of numbers to work, 32 + 25 > 57 25 + 57 > 32 32 + 57 > 25

OpenStudy (anonymous):

but because 32 + 25 = 57, A doesn't work.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

i get it

thank you!
