FAN AND MEDAL!!!!!!! Ismael is comparing cell phone plans before upgrading his phone. Ameri-Mobile offers a low activation fee, but a high monthly payment. Cell-U-Later offers a lower monthly rate, but the activation fee is higher. Create a possible algebraic expression for both Ameri-Mobile and Cell-U-Later that shows the amount paid after an unknown amount of months have passed. Justify how you created those expressions, and identify what each term and factor represents in terms of the cell phone plans.

you gotta make up the whole problem?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

pick two activation fees anything just with one higher than the other

OpenStudy (anonymous):

how about 23 46

OpenStudy (anonymous):

ok one in $23 and the other $46 now pick two monthly rates i higher one for the $23 activation fee and a lower one for the $46 plan

OpenStudy (anonymous):

how about 38 for 23 and 19 for 46

OpenStudy (anonymous):

hmm nice annoying numbers ok that is realistic i guess so the cheaper start up with higher monthly fee is Amera mobile and the equation for your cost would be \[C=23+38x\] where \(x\) is the number of months you use the plan

OpenStudy (anonymous):

similarly the other one could have a cost of \[C=46+19x\]

hey this wasn't that bad was it? kind of a math teacherish question, but not unknowable
