2x+y=4 6x+7y=12

OpenStudy (gudden):

2x +y = 4, from this equation can you tell me what's y in the terms of x and the numeral ?

OpenStudy (solomonzelman):

multiply the 1st equation times -3. add the equations. you get?

OpenStudy (gudden):

@Zoexo... are you there??

pooja195 (pooja195):

ok basically your gonna plug in zero to find the x and y so 2x+y=4 would be 2(0)+y=4 so u get y=4 and the to find x 6x+7y=12 6x+7(0)=12 your answer would be x=2
