does absolute monarchy mean- rule by one person or group that has absolute power which is rarely passed down through generations??

OpenStudy (jacobbenvenutty):

An absolute monarchy is when one person (monarch) has absolute power over his/her people, and has unrestricted access to anything within his/her domain

OpenStudy (anonymous):

thank you but am i right or wrong..

OpenStudy (jacobbenvenutty):

I would not say that it is ruled by a group as it is always only one person. The rest is right

OpenStudy (jacobbenvenutty):

Absolute monarchies are often hereditary but other means of transmission of power are attested. So it is usually passed down through family line

okay thank you !!

OpenStudy (jacobbenvenutty):

No problem ; )
