Medal & Fan Why must the plant which grows directly from the fern spore be wet? so that the egg can be fertilized so that it can grow in order to produce a seed

OpenStudy (solomonzelman):

they have to grow in a moist environment.

OpenStudy (solomonzelman):

OpenStudy (justuu):

so whats the answer?

OpenStudy (kittiwitti1):

I believe the answer is the last one.

OpenStudy (kittiwitti1):

Also, why is this in the History section? e_e

OpenStudy (justuu):

okay thank u i forgot to put it in science sorry

OpenStudy (kittiwitti1):

It's fine. xD

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I would say the first statement, usually this kind of fertilization involves gametes that have flagella, so they require a wet environment to work properly
